MEANING
響石 Kyoseki:
The word 響-Kyo means "to have an echo with each other".
石-Seki means stone.
So the name literally means that the beauty of the stones is echoed in the Bonsai and all other display elements. As part of nature, people can go into resonance too.
SUISEKI AND BONSAI
We see Suiseki and Bonsai as two sides of the same coin and strive to show these two art forms in the best possible light.
The curated exhibition focuses on artistic presentation based on the Japanese model (Kazari).
We make it our task to stage deeply felt images of nature through Suiseki and Bonsai.

EXHIBITION
The 53nd International Mineral Days in Basel will take place on December 7th and 8th, 2024.
The opening hours of the fair are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Suiseki Special Show is called “Kyoseki 響石 – Resonating with Nature” and is an integral part of the International Mineral Days.
OFFER DEALER
In addition to the rich offer of the International Mineral Days, which attracts around 2500 visitors, interested parties can purchase high-quality goods for their Suiseki and Bonsai presentations from specialist dealers from Switzerland and the surrounding countries.
The trade fair customs office is on site for the goods declaration and offers support with import and export.
It is our aim that Kyoseki 響石 in Basel becomes a major event throughout Europe.
